Stargazing Event Ideas

Amy really wanted to do something with stargazing for her 11th birthday and luckily her mom found us on Google. For Amy's birthday, we did a 30 min nature walk through our nature estate to reach the telescope. We then had dinner catered by Alex's Kitchen, and sung Happy Birthday. All the kids then received glow lights before we started viewing through the telescope. We saw Jupiter, Moon, Orion's Nebula. When it was time to walk back, we struggled to get the girls to come because they were having so much fun that they didn't want it to end!

Mercedes Benz celebrated their 'stars' (their superb sales people) with a theme of 'creating WOW moments'. Their guests certainly got a WOW moment when they saw Saturn and the Moon through our 3 telescopes. They had a lovely venue: Stay by Inimitable in Muldersdrift that we came out to.

Lina arranged a stargazing evening for her husband's birthday but she didn't tell him what they would be doing. When he arrived at the telescope, he had no idea that he would be enjoying an hour with his family under the stars. They had fun taking photos with a moon lamp.

A romantic husband organized a star picnic for his wife's birthday which included pizza and sparking wine. He drove all the way from Vereeniging for her to have this unique birthday idea under the moonlight.

Suzuki had an off-road experience for their sales staff and part of the experience was camping overnight. A wonderful activity for the guests to do in the night time was stargazing, so they booked us to come out to Hartbeespoort. We set up 3 telescopes and they had a memorable time seeing Saturn and the Moon.

A client in Dainfern had a rooftop which they often went up to to view the stars. Their kids had already made a 'solar system' in school so they were already interested in astronomy. Everyone helped us get the telescope up to the roof. We don't do this anymore unless there is normal access, but it was quite fun.

Jeandre took her family out on Friday evening to have a nice bonding experience with the moon.

A customer in Waterfall booked us for entertainment during her dinner party. The guests had no idea it was even possible to book such an experience! No doubt it was a dinner party to remember!

A young couple wanted to have a small, private, yet memorable proposal under the stars. They booked the Picnic option and popped the question after seeing the moon because the mood of wonder had been set. She said yes

Diagnostec booked us for their annual Christmas in July event. We set up at Dainfern Country Club restaurant so that the guests could have dinner while the stargazed.
